Russia deploys thousands of troops in Crimea - Kiev, Ankara under pressure

Nearly 3,000 square kilometers in front of Crimea in the Black Sea were seized by the Russian military without any formal justification for any aeronautical exercise, for example, causing a surprise to NATO, the US and Turkey.

However, in this case, the ban on flights and navigation in the Black Sea region came directly from the Russian army, so a number of experts began to make unexpected assumptions.

The editor-in-chief of Arsenal magazine, a member of the board of experts of the Russian Federation Military-Industrial Committee, and retired Colonel Viktor Murakhovsky, said: "Recently, we have a lot of new weapons and different systems that need to be tested."

Many experts, however, speak of a ban on US and Turkish warships approaching the area for specific reasons.

Russia has deployed a large group of troops to the Crimean peninsula and is creating the conditions for the development of nuclear weapons, which will be used to increase pressure on the international community, according to the newsletter of the SVR, Ukraine.

"Russia has moved a large force of troops to Crimea, which includes about 32,500 land, naval and air forces. The Russian side is creating conditions for the development of nuclear weapons, their individual components and carriers in Crimea, while carrying out Military aircraft and missile warships are being deployed in the Crimean and Sevastopol ports, which may carry nuclear warheads.

Russia's plans to develop and use regular nuclear weapons, Crimea included, "allow the Kremlin to increase pressure on the international community," which threatens the security and national interests of Ukraine and its strategic partners, Turkey-US", Ukrainian government sources claim.

At the same time, the Ukrainian intelligence service speaks of "implementing the scenario of systematic destabilization of the internal situation in Ukraine as a major threat from Russia, in particular, by easing international support for the country, creating a threatening military and economic background, including energy pressure", the Kiev bureau said.

Ukraine's intelligence service believes that EU policy in the coming years will tend to a "strategic autonomy" involving minimal dependence on other actors, leaving Ukrainians alone in solving internal problems.

"The main source of threats to Ukraine's European security and national security is and will remain in the coming years the path taken by the Russian leadership to consolidate Russia's status as a global player and recognize the so-called 'Russian interests.' It is very likely that the Kremlin will continue its tactics of "increasing fluctuations in the military-political confrontation, by manipulating the problems of European security, as well as in feeding the processes of disintegration of Europe", the Ukrainian side concludes.

In an effort to internationalize the Crimean issue, Ukraine has brought the country closer to Turkey, while information has also been leveled on the conduct of Ukrainian-Turkish naval exercises outside Odessa. Reacting to all these scenarios, Moscow sent 32,000 troops, warships, missiles with nuclear warheads, and deployed long-range radar.

The next stage would be the creation of incidents in the Mediterranean Sea between Ukraine, Turkey, NATO and the Russian side, which could easily escalate into a full scale war with unexpected concequenses for the region and the whole world.
