Delivery of Ukrainians in Zaporizhzhya

More specifically and according to a publication of the Russian state defense Zvezda of the Russian Ministry of Defense, a video shows the surrender of Ukrainian soldiers in Zaporizhzhya.

The video, which was recorded by a camera on a Russian helicopter, shows Ukrainian soldiers who have discarded their weapons raising their hands in the air, abandoning their positions and surrendering to the Russian armed forces.

Earlier, the Russian military had released a video showing the capture of Ukrainian soldiers during an attack on Ukrainian armed forces positions in the direction of Kupiansk. One of the captured Ukrainian soldiers stated that he had not wished to participate in the hostilities in the first place, but was recruited and sent to the battlefield with almost no training.

Prior to this incident, the Russian Zvezda reports that there were also captures of Ukrainian paratroopers near Stavropol, near the village of Verbovo. Russian fighters came very close to Ukrainian positions and attacked a Ukrainian trench with grenades.

More specifically, a Ka-52 attack helicopter in cooperation with a Mi-8 search and rescue helicopter of the Russian Army Air Force carried out a combat mission in the direction of Svatovo-Krenaya.

During the mission, Moscow's Ka-52 Alligator used air-launched weapons against the Ukrainian Armed Forces command post, which had been detected earlier by Russian reconnaissance assets. The bunker was successfully blown up and then Russian helicopters manoeuvred to avoid possible missile retaliation from the Ukrainian side.

The Russian helicopter weapons systems officer then confirmed that the target was successfully hit and the two Russian aircraft returned safely to their runway. Zvezda did not reveal further details about the mission and the significance of the destruction of the Ukrainian target.
