Reports indicate the destruction of an entire squad of German Leopard-2A4 tanks in the direction of Svyatovo, which were preparing to attack Russian positions.

The Russians have "spread out" special teams with anti-tank and heavy weapons, hunting to neutralise Ukrainian concentrations of material and personnel, either on the spot or by giving coordinates to rocket artillery, as they call rocket units.

Also, German intelligence reports that the Russian army continues to advance north of Avdiika, towards the town of Bertuzzi, in order to completely block the supply routes of the Ukrainian forces.

The terrain is flat, and the Russians are using wheeled and tracked systems, encircling many Ukrainian units, and their main concern is to destroy the main supply routes of the Ukrainian army.

Two armoured Russian armies prepare the biggest offensive since the occupation of Berlin in 1945

"Two armies, a mixed air corps, as well as 50 formations and military units have been formed in the Russian Armed Forces, including four divisions, 18 brigades and 28 battalions," a Russian expert said.

This is a giant force that much of it has moved to join the offensive against Ukrainian territory, disabusing many of the real motives of the Russian president, who wants more than anything to end Ukraine by spring.

On December 1, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree setting the authorized strength of the armed forces at 2,209,130 units, including 1,320,000 military personnel.
In the same decree he instructed the government to allocate appropriate funds for this.

At an enlarged Defence Ministry meeting held on 19 December, Sergei Shoigu had announced that the Russian Ministry had begun to fulfil this task.

The war is costing the Russian economy tremendously in terms of manpower, in particular, in terms of money, in terms of the course of the economy, and what bothers Putin is the constant deepening of his country's dependence on many levels, especially on China, but also on defence equipment from North Korea.

It is estimated that when necessary, the Russians will attack simultaneously on the whole front, aiming at an unconditional surrender of Kiev as soon as possible.
