The US Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) sailed into Souda Bay, Crete, for a scheduled port visit on January 30.
The port visit is part of the vessel's scheduled maintenance period. "We are delighted to be returning to Souda Gulf," said Capt. Michael Weeldreyer, commanding officer of USS Leyte Gulf.
