Soukos Robot's lawyer revealed: 'If Turkey makes the fatal mistake in the Aegean then it will realize what Kostas Soukos is

According to a local media outlet, the Larissa-based arms systems entrepreneur Kostas Soukos has taken action against the Greek state for the huge damage his company suffered from the onslaught of "Daniel" months ago in Thessaly, with the cost of the disaster for SOUKOS ROBOTS S.A. exceeding 160 million euros!

The production site of advanced technologies, all the mechanical equipment of the company was destroyed within minutes by the flood at the SOUKOS ROBOTS premises at the 9th km of the National Road Larissa - Thessaloniki.

Mr. Soukos said in a statement in  tinealarissa, however, that the company is working normally despite the extensive damage caused by the flood.

Speaking to the lawyer of the owner of Soukos Robots, Mr. Stelios Sourlas said the following:

"Following the catastrophic flood Daniel, I have received an order to take criminal and civil action against the Greek State and all those responsible for the flood which caused damages of more than 160 million euros to SOUKOS ROBOTS S.A.

At the same time, the instruction I have received from the President of the company Konstantinos Soukos is to take legal action against those Greek sites that have defamed the company by stating that it has gone bankrupt, which is extremely false and slanderous.

To everyone's dismay, SOUKOS ROBOTS S.A. is as strong and thriving as ever despite the extensive damage to its facilities. As far as the Turkish media is concerned, which was quick to rejoice, the message is one: 'If the Greek Government decides to get serious and appreciate and utilize the mind and technology of this man, a leader in the World Defence Industry, with certifications from the US Government etc., and Turkey decides to make the fatal mistake in the Aegean and move against Greece, then it will realize what Kostas Soukos is...!'

Here the interview of Mr.Soukos in OPEN: Here

The Turks are happy for nothing-Soukos.

According to our article in  Pentapostagma.gr, we had reported that Mr. Soukos "continues normally with the manufacturing program of MINOTAYROS and other systems, for which he has a written order for 140 systems with a requirement for technology transfer", something he does not want of course.

But who are those who are putting a stumbling block in the way of a Greek company with cutting-edge technology, and how should we as a state react?

Competition in this kind of weapon systems, drone jamming, laser systems and many fall under not only corporate competition, but also in the field of industrial espionage.
It is a relentless "war" in which foreign companies and governments will do anything to get what they want, by any means necessary.

Without saying too much, and citing statements by Mr. Soukos, we mention that the Ministry of Defence and Civil Protection, as well as the General Staff, are very close to the company and everything will be put in order in the future.

The issue started after the announcement that for the company Soukos Robot, an auction of a parcel of land on which the company's factory for the manufacture of robotic machines is located is being implemented.

According to a Greek media "the auction was posted yesterday and will take place on 13 December 2023, and concerns a parcel of land at the 9th km of the Larissa - Thessaloniki motorway, with a total area of 38.467 sq.m., including the industrial complex.

Who is the company innovating in the field of laser weapons

At the Defea 2021 exhibition, the High Energy Laser Weapon developed with his company Soukos Robots was presented, promising energy transfer at the speed of light.

Among the revolutionary features of the weapon is that it is unaffected by gravity and allows passive detection and storage of targets, including unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), sea vessels, missiles and helicopters.

"It is a laser robotic weapon system that carries out photon emission from 5 to 20 kilometres. It has a stabilization system. It has an automatic alignment system and has the capability of engaging per target every two to three seconds," he had said.

"It was built to shoot down drones. Today the war is being lost or won by drones. So the future is laser weapons," he had added.

Greece is not a country in which companies of this level are being developed for many different reasons, but we hope that it will happen one day so that we can become self-sufficient as a nation in critical cutting-edge technology for many missions of both the Armed Forces and the civilian sector.

We hope in this particular case that the years of research, personnel and achievements will be reciprocated by the Greek Army, and that it will be strengthened very soon, for the good of our Nation.
