Serbian commandos arrested members of Kosovo's Special Forces - American BlackHawk over Serbia - Sirens & gunfire in Mitrovica

Members of the special units of the Serbian police have today arrested three armed members of the Kosovo Special Forces on the territory of central Serbia.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, was urgently informed of this action, and upon receiving the information, he thanked his hosts at the Russian Embassy, where he was attending a reception on the occasion of Russia Day, and immediately went to the Presidency building.

At the same time, at least one Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk transport helicopter entered Serbian airspace from Romanian airspace, according to media reports.

The website "Flight Radar 24" showed shortly after noon that one or more US Army "Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk" helicopters were flying south of Belgrade.

An aircraft or a group of them entered Serbia from the airspace of Romania and moved at a speed of about 250 km per hour, the Russia Today Balkan channel's Combat Effectiveness telegram said.

It is reported that an aircraft or a group of aircraft flew over the Lipovaczka forest at about 12:34 p.m. and is moving in the direction of Baric-Obrenovac. The Serbian President spoke with the KFOR Commander, General Angelo Michel Ristuccia.

According to images from social networks, Serbian commandos have been deployed on the border with Kosovo.

Earlier in North Mitrovica, sirens were sounded around noon and, according to initial information, members of the Kosovo Special Police Unit arrested a Serb.

Large numbers of Serbs gathered at the crossing between the northern and southern parts of Mitrovica, Kosovo, while the Kosovo police were on the southern side. Gunfire was also heard from the south side of the city.

The situation at the moment is calm, but tense and the sirens in North Mitrovica are still sounding.

A protest was held today in Zvetsaj, immediately before the action of the special forces of the Kosovo Police in North Mitrovica, due to the arrest of Dusan Obrenovic and Rados Petrovic, and the gathered citizens demanded their release.

Dusan Obrenovic's lawyer, Predrag Milkovic, said his client and Rados Petrovic were arrested about 50 meters from where citizens gathered today while peacefully expressing their displeasure at the imposition of illegal mayors in municipalities in northern Kosovo and the presence special forces of the Kosovo Police.
