Israelis annihilated a Hezbollah saboteur on the Lebanese borders - CENTCOM chief in Israel to coordinate operations with Tel Aviv

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they killed four terrorists who tried to cross the border from Lebanon and plant an explosive device near the northern community of Hanita.

The Israeli military says the cell was spotted as it approached the border fence and was hit by a drone.

The Israeli Air Force has just released the video showing Hezbollah terrorists being killed on the Israel-Lebanon border thanks to a bomb dropped by an Israeli fighter jet. These terrorists armed with anti-tank missiles wanted to destroy the IDF's Merkava tanks.

Sirens of rocket attacks sound in a Gaza border community after a calm of about 11 hours. There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The Israel Defense Forces said it struck more than 200 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets in the Gaza Strip overnight.

The targets, according to the IDF, included a headquarters where a number of Hamas members were killed and a bank used by Hamas.

The IDF added that naval vessels also carried out strikes, including against Hamas command centers and weapons storage sites in Gaza City.

The head of the United States Central Command landed in Israel to meet with Israeli defense officials amid the ongoing war against Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip and as tensions heat up on the border with Lebanon.

In a statement, CENTCOM said that General Michael Kurila will meet with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzli Halevi, Defense Minister Yoav Galad and others to "gain a clear understanding of Israel's defense requirements, outline U.S. support efforts to avoid escalation of the conflict, and reiterate the Defense Ministry's unwavering support for Israel."

"I am here to ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself, and I am particularly focused on preventing other parties from expanding the conflict," Kurila said in statements provided by CENTCOM.

An Israel Defense Forces spokesman said the military does not expect US President Joe Biden's visit to Israel tomorrow to delay or complicate the ground operation in Gaza.

"I think the president also said 'Hamas must be destroyed' and that's exactly our military objective," Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus tells CNN.

Biden will make a war visit in the latest demonstration of Washington's overwhelming support for Jerusalem after the October 7 Hamas attack.

He will be the first head of state to visit Israel since the conflict began. Last week he delivered a passionate speech in which he expressed his dismay at the violent Hamas attack, winning over Israelis across the political spectrum.
