According to new Russian reports on the Readovka channel on Telegram, the Russian army is crushing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is gradually advancing in the direction of Donetsk.
What is happening at the front on the morning of August 3?
In the direction of Donetsk, Russian fighters are said to have carried out successful offensive operations southwest of Avdiivka and pushed Ukrainian forces out of several positions they held.
A similar situation is said to have developed in the Vesele region, the domination of which will allow the Russian army to move from the northeast to the militant stronghold of Avdiivka.
The Russian army also continues to invade the defense lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mariynka. Fierce fighting is currently taking place in this sector of the front.

A new video was released today, which presumably shows Russian fire destroying a German-made Leopard 2A6 tank of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The Russian success has not been confirmed, but if it is true then we are dealing with yet another loss of this German tank for the Ukrainian side.
Turkish Armoured Vehicle Disbanded
In addition to a Western-made tank, today's video captured the destruction of a Turkish Kirpi tank. In the footage in question, the Ankara tank appears to have been destroyed in the middle of a dirt road.
Right next to it is a destroyed Ukrainian Kozak-2 armoured vehicle, produced by the Kiev defence industry. The video in question is said to have been recorded at a point near Staramayorskoe, where fierce fighting continues unabated.
New Coordinated Ukrainian Attack on Russia?
Finally, yesterday's report on Telegram foreshadows a sharp escalation of the conflict.
More specifically, the Terror Alarm channel reports that the Ukrainian armed forces will target 14 different Russian cities, including Moscow and St Petersburg, on 24 August.
We do not know more details about the Ukrainian plan, but it is estimated that the Russian authorities have been sounding the alarm throughout the country.
