Who is "Lying"? The settlements of Sandovoye & Urozainoe under Russian control, says the Kremlin - Kiev and Prigozhin denies (Video)

Troops of the Russian Vostok group continue to control the settlements of Sandovoye and Urozainoye, which are located in the direction of southern Donetsk. According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, these areas are still under the control of the Russian Vostok Group troops.

During a short speech, representatives of the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian army's information about these settlements and their control by the Kiev armed forces is unreliable and does not correspond with reality.

These settlements, Sandovoye and Urozainoe, are now under the full control of Russian forces, Moscow said. In addition, the Kremlin's statement emphasizes the fact that the Russian side is providing the necessary humanitarian support to the residents of these areas, including the payment of pensions.

"This statement of the Russian ministry contradicts the statements made by the Ukrainian army," the Russian state media service Avia-pro said.

However, it should be noted that a little earlier, the head of the Russian mercenary Vagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, reported the control of these settlements by the armed forces of Ukraine.

By extension, we understand that there is a discrepancy regarding statements about the situation in this sector of the front. Either the Russian forces never lost control of Sandovoye and Urozhaynoye, or they did and regained it shortly afterwards, but we cannot confirm either possibility.

In other Avia-pro news, a Ukrainian Grad multiple rocket launcher was dismantled by a Russian Lancet drone, which acts as a kamikaze drone.

More specifically, Russian fighters are said to have managed to destroy the Ukrainian artillery system as it was preparing to fire on the Russian army. At the right moment for the Russians, however, it was hit directly by Moscow's drone, resulting in it being burned to the ground.

In the video footage recorded from another unmanned aerial vehicle, we can see how the Grad system is deployed by the Ukrainian army, which shortly afterwards starts preparing it for combat. However, it can also be seen how the Russian roving munition successfully hits its target, forcing the launcher to "hastily" launch its missiles.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian armed forces have a general problem with these systems, as they have been "victimized" by Russian drones many times, mostly Lancet. Lancet demonstrate high accuracy, and as a result have a history of many documented multi-launcher destruction of Grad and other Ukrainian artillery systems.
