Close to a Kiev's attack - Ukrainian Brigade training in Sweden was completed - Germans are sending all-terrain tracked vehicles (Video)

Preparations by the Ukrainians to launch their counter-offensive to liberate their country's territories from the Russian invaders continue unabated.

The stages of preparation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for their attack

These include the following:

1. Completing the training of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in NATO countries, on weapons systems and means that have been given or will be given in the next period of time to their country.

2. The reception of Western weapon systems by Ukraine and either their integration into existing formations of the army and squadrons of its air force, or the creation of new formations from them, thereby creating the necessary structure and organization of its Armed Forces for the long-awaited launch of their attack.

The completion of Ukrainian Brigade training in Sweden

In this context, in a related article, a reputable defense media reports that, "according to the Swedish Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian troops are completing training on TOMA CV90", noting:

"Ukrainian soldiers have been trained on CV90 infantry fighting vehicles in Sweden and now they will return home. All spring, the Swedish Armed Forces instructed Ukrainian troops how to use the CV90. They have already returned to Ukraine to protect their country ", says the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

In February, Sweden approved the transfer of 50 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, whose soldiers trained at undisclosed locations in Sweden.

On May 18, media reported that a Ukrainian brigade of 3,000 to 5,000 soldiers was trained in Sweden and equipped with modern Western technology, including Leopard 2 tanks, CV-90 combat vehicles and Archer artillery systems.

This training is said to make the brigade one of the most capable units to take part in future counter-attack operations.

German aid of Bandvagn 206 (Bv206) to Ukraine

Germany, for its part, is supplying the Ukrainian military with a new major defense aid package, which includes 64 Bandvagn 206 (Bv206) articulated all-terrain vehicles.

As media reports, the first batch of 8 vehicles has been sent to Ukraine.

In 2002, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH as contracting authority, signed a production contract with Land Systems Hagglunds for 31 Bv206S vehicles with delivery into service by 2005.

A further 75 were ordered in December 2004 and 81 in September 2005. The total requirement for Bv20 Germany was 200 vehicles.

The Bandvagn 206 (Bv 206) was developed by Hägglunds, now part of BAE Systems Platforms & Services, for the Swedish Army.

Technical characteristics - Numerical Data

With a length of 6.36 meters, a width of 2.3 meters and a height of 2.43 meters, it can carry up to 10 people or 1.37 tons of payload (among the 7.3 tons of total weight).

The trailer unit can be adapted for different uses.

The Bv206S is powered by a 6-cylinder diesel engine delivering 177 horsepower, mated to an MB W 4A-018 automatic transmission

The maximum speed of the Bv206 reaches 52 km/h on the road and 4 km/h on the water. It has a remarkable range of 330 km.

Its all-terrain capabilities are attributed to its tracked propulsion system, which allows it to traverse a variety of difficult terrains, including snow, ice, marshy areas, and rocky surfaces.

From the above we understand that the launch time of the Ukrainian attack is getting closer and closer.

It is sensational that an entire Ukrainian Brigade was trained in Sweden, equipped with modern Western technology, including Leopard 2 tanks, TOMA CV-90 and Archer artillery systems.

This shows us that her training was not only fragmented in weapon systems and their use, but definitely included tactical exercises, probably in all types of offensive operations, such as advance-attack-exploitation-pursuit.

As the most likely date of occurrence of the Ukrainian attack, we estimate that it is July 11-12, where the NATO Summit will be held in Lithuania, thus giving a symbolic character to it, but also to the expected inclusion of Sweden within the Alliance.
