A Ukrainian soldier with Greek origin was killed in Bakhmut - Putin: "God is with us we will win" (Video-photo)

A Greek-origin Soldier of the Ukrainian army named Andreas Vorombkalos, codenamed "the Greek", was probably killed in Bakhmut, filling the list of Kiev's casualties.

This particular Greek-born soldier of the Ukrainian forces was beloved, while Ukrainian commentators declared him a hero of the country.

We remind you that many Ukrainians and Russians of Greek origin are fighting on the Eastern side of the country, according to information on social networks.

Meanwhile, B. Putin visited Kherson where he presented the "Dnieper" military group with a handmade icon of Jesus Christ the Savior.

He declared that "God is with Russia, the enemy will be destroyed, victory will be ours".

Ukrainian attack on Bakhmut failed

The Ukrainian army failed to attack Bakhmut due to the Russian heavy barrage of fire, and constant artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Russia.

Ukrainian units attempted to launch a counterattack in the Artyomovsk region, but faced serious problems due to adverse weather conditions and the reaction of Russian forces.

The mechanized infantry units of the Ukrainians, which advanced to reconnoitre the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, were mired in the mud and destroyed by artillery fire.

The events unfolded near Orenkovo-Vasilievska, a few kilometers northwest of Bakhmut.

The Ukrainian administration did not take into account the weather conditions, which led to the fact that armored personnel carriers (BMPs) got stuck in the mud.

Unmanned aerial vehicle operators found swamped armored vehicles and HMMWVs near the road.

Based on the received coordinates, Russian forces launched a strike with Giacint-B cannons and TOS-1A heavy systems.

As a result of the attack, all the enemy's military equipment was destroyed and the remaining infantry were forced to retreat.

The Ukrainian command sent a team to evacuate the surviving military personnel, but it too was discovered and destroyed by Russian aircraft.

According to preliminary estimates, as a result of an unsuccessful counterattack and ill-planned decisions of the Ukrainian administration, several armored vehicles were destroyed and about 20 Soldiers were killed, while 30 more were seriously injured.

These events are indicative of the complexity and uncertainty in the military theater of operations in the Bahamut area.

Moscow decided to pulverize many areas North and South of Bakhmut

Russia decided to literally level Bakhmut, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka with massive bombardment with FAB-1500 bombs.

There is no doubt that the Russian General Staff does not wish to give support to the Ukrainians in the planned offensive of Kiev, which is set for April 30.

We also had bombardments in the Zaporizhzhya area, against the gathering places of the Ukrainian army, with FAB-XNUMX 1500 ton bombs.

Meanwhile, a Ukrainian phalanx of military equipment was destroyed by Russian TOS-1A systems in the Kremenaya region.

In the forests near this area, a phalanx of light vehicles of the Ukrainian army was detected and destroyed with the help of a TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" thermobaric missile system.

This was announced by Channel One war correspondent Dmitry Kulko, who posted the corresponding video.

According to the information provided, the Ukrainian soldiers were on their way to their destination, but failed to arrive due to heavy shelling. At present, the exact number of victims and damaged equipment is unknown.
