The Turkish defence industry landed in London

The work that has been done in Turkey in the defence sector has long been bearing fruit and has had a significant impact on the economy of the neighbouring country, which can now show an ever-increasing number of exports.

It may remind many people of China's model, which to a considerable extent began by copying Western and Soviet weapons systems, but from the result it can be said that the bet the Turks made with themselves has paid off.

According to the Turkish state broadcaster TRT, the Turkish defence industry will participate with about 30 companies in the DSEI 2023 International Defence and Security Equipment Exhibition to be held in the UK capital, London.

"The Turkish defense industry is making new moves to bring to Europe the success it has recorded in exports to different regions of the world.

The exhibition, which will be held between September 12-15 under the title "Achieving Integrated Power", will highlight the compatibility of integrating operational areas consisting of air, land, naval, space, electromagnetic and cyber activities.

The exhibition, which brings together representatives of governments, armed forces and industry, will be attended by defence equipment suppliers from many countries around the world.

Turkish defense industry companies will participate in the exhibition under the coordination of the Defense Industry Directorate and with the support of the Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters Association.

30 Turkish companies will present their products and capabilities.
