The next level- Greek-Egyptian agreement to build equipment and ammunition

The Egyptian minister who is head of the country's defense industry, Mohammed Salah, met with the head of the Hellenic Society "Hellenic Instruments", Mr. Hermes Koutsos, to discuss the production of heavy ammunition and various military balls.

The meeting took place in Egypt, the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production.

At the beginning of the meeting, Egyptian Minister Mohammed Salah welcomed the guests, expressing his regret over the conflict of the two trains in northern Greece.

He then stressed that the primary role of his ministry, which is to meet the requests and needs of the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Police in terms of ammunition, weapons and equipment.

The Hellenic Society, through its CEO, examined the technological, construction and technical capabilities of Egyptian companies and state military production units, in particular the technological and construction capabilities of the Abu Zaabal Company for Specialized Industries (Factory 300 Military).

There, between the two sides, it was decided to cooperate in many areas, including the transfer of technology and the co-construction of heavy ammunition, as well as electronic components used in bullet assembly.

The possibility of collaborating to update the X-Ray device was also discussed.

Egyptian Minister Mohammed Salah emphasized his country's interest in strengthening cooperation with the Greek side in various areas, to exchange experiences and the joint construction of certain military products, adding that the high capabilities and know -how of both sides will be pave the way for opening new horizons for fertile bilateral cooperation that achieves the common interest of both parties and producing military products to export to the surrounding countries.

For his part, Mr. Hermes Koutsos, president of the Hellenic Society "Hellenic Instruments", said that his company has high technologies and specializes in the design, development and manufacture of electronic systems and advanced military equipment, security and industrial software, while being Registered in the Register of Defense Materials of the Hellenic Ministry of Defense and is a member of the Group of Greek Defense Industries and Aerospace Safety.

After praising the development of Egypt in recent years in all areas and the strategic geographical location that makes it a gateway to Arab and African countries, he passed the main menu of the meeting that was the joint cooperation of the two sides for exports to Africa and Middle East.

In turn, the media adviser to the Minister of Military Production and the official spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry, Mr. Mohamed Eid Bakr, explained that the meeting of the Hellenic Society is not the first, as the Greek company had a meeting with its representatives during the Greek company.
