Great victory for Hellenism & Armenians: Disney+ reportedly cancelled the laundering of Kemal Atatürk's crimes - Anger in Ankara

Disney+'s whitewashing of Turkish crimes has reportedly been avoided as the company moves to cancel the production of a series about Kemal Atatürk, the "father" of modern Turkey and mastermind of the genocide of many peoples, including Greeks and Armenians.

"After pressure from mainstream Armenian lobbies in the US regarding the TV series about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Disney+ removed all Turkish content in Turkey. In the lynching campaign, they insult the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as the leader of the genocide," a Turkish journalist wrote in a Twitter post.

As we wrote in the Pentapostagma, the Armenian community in the US (ANCA) has launched a campaign against the series being prepared by the major American production company Disney about the Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal, accusing him of terrible crimes against Greeks and Armenians, as well as other ethnicities.

In a statement on social media, the ANCA, "calls on DisneyPlus to cancel its series glorifying Mustafa Kemal Atatürk - a Turkish dictator, murderer and orchestrator of the genocide that filled the blood of millions of Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syrians, Arameans, Maronites and other Christian martyrs at his hands."

Ataturk's actions killed millions of Christians, including Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syrians and Maronites, according to the ANCA. Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan dispute the massacre. The Armenian genocide has been recognized by 34 states, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Armenian-Americans are accused by Turkey's Foreign Ministry of demonizing Turkey, Turkish-Americans and Turks. They claim that Armenians use questionable sources and forged documents to advance their case and conceal exculpatory facts.

Atatürk, whose nickname means "Father of the Turks", is considered the first president and founder of the modern Turkish republic. However, there is a major controversy in the wider Muslim world over the abolition of the Ottoman Caliphate and the strict secular system he imposed.

But the truth for thousands of Greeks, Armenians and other peoples was that Kemal was the orchestrator and mastermind of a great genocide, which he had planned since 1919, to "cleanse" Turkey, as they thought, of foreign peoples.
