German MP: Erdogan holds Greece-Cyprus hostage with hundreds of UCAVs- IDAS missile changes everything in the Aegean (Video)

The German MP of the Christian Democrats, Norbert Röttgen, a member of the parliament sent a warning to Athens, among others, about Erdogan's policy, after the elections.

“Turkish UCAVs are flying everywhere. Erdogan is at every table.

Turkish UCAVs were instrumental in the war between Azerbaijan, with Azeri support.

"Turkey is playing a strange geopolitical game by controlling mining in the Eastern Mediterranean with the Turkish-Libyan memorandum, while it is obsessed with Greece-Cyprus," he said, among other things.

It is about power politics on the part of Turkey, which coincides with the borders of the heart of the Turkish president, from the Caucasus to Libya.

We emphasize that the Turkish defense industry is working day and night to enforce the Turkish foreign policy in the Aegean as well as in the Eastern Mediterranean.

With the power of weapons and only these, the "neighbors" will attempt to seize the Greek EEZ, as they are now playing the game of supposed Greek-Turkish friendship, until they achieve their goals.

The news from the defense field talks about German-made IDAS missiles that will launch the Turkish Type-214

The Turks have long implemented a very strong collaboration with the Germans to develop a submarine-launched missile with many capabilities.

This is an extremely worrying development for the Greek armed forces, concerning the well-known submarine interactive attack missile (IDAS).

At exactly the same time we expect the 503 mm heavy duty torpedoes for our modern submarines, which are getting a strong competitor.

The Turks, according to information, are able to launch IDAS (Interactive Defense and Attack System for Submarines) missiles from their 214TN REIS submarines.

Featuring an IIR seeker as well as a fiber-optic guidance system, the IDAS missile will be used against aerial targets, small and medium-sized surface platforms such as gunboats and corvettes, and coastal targets, and will also have underwater firing capability, (possibly against Greek submarines).

The IDAS missile is a relatively short-range submarine-launched missile TYPE 214, and can hit targets at sea, on land and in the air.

It can be fired from the torpedo tubes of submarines, and even four missiles can be launched…simultaneously.

The Turkish Roketsan, due to a contract with the German Diehl, had been involved in the manufacture of the heads of the IDAS missiles, but along the way everything changed.

The missiles will power Turkey's new German-built TType 214 submarines, which will be partially built in Turkey.

The submarine program with a total cost of 5.2 billion euros concerns the acquisition of at least six submarines 214 . Turkish companies have undertaken the execution of sub-construction material at a rate of 80%.
Also, as it was also known, six Turkish Reis-class submarines will be fitted with special RAM material which, as is known, minimizes the submarine's electromagnetic footprint.

Needless to say, in the next period after the elections, the leadership of our Navy will be called upon to find a solution to this issue.

A good solution would be cooperation with the Germans for the same missiles, on the same German-made submarines that we have, otherwise cooperation with the French or Israelis.
