As it became known later, this is a Greek-American military exercise, not a NATO one, lasting 10 days.

The Greek Armed Forces, known for their operational readiness and very high level of professionalism and training, do not stop demonstrating these specific characteristics in the various military exercises they participate in, both abroad and at home, especially with the participation of foreign military forces.

On one such occasion, an exercise will take place in Litochoro, Pieria, with the participation of Greek and American elite special operations units, with the presence of Apache attack helicopters accompanying the equally impressive Chinooks.

The whole event will focus on the Litochoro Firing Range, where US forces in the presence of Greek Rangers will implement various combat scenarios.

At least 17,000 personnel of the Turkish armed forces are mobilized for the exercise "Thalassolukos"

At the same time we have a demonstration of power and a firm position regarding the revisionist doctrine of the "Blue Homeland", Turkey will proceed in the next few days, conducting the exercise "Thalassolykos 2024" for the needs of which the Turkish fleet is going out in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Thalassolukos /1 2024 exercise, planned by the Turkish Naval Forces Command, will be held in the Black Sea, Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean between January 7-16, according to the Turkish Defense Ministry's announcement: "It aims to improve the reasoning, foresight and decision-making skills of the elements participating in the exercise.

For the exercise it is planned to involve 17 thousand people who will give confidence to friends and fear to enemies. The exercises that will ensure joint work between commands of forces and public institutions will include surface fire, air defense fire, land bombardment shots and guided missile shots."

After Blinken's visit to Turkey, the US is not only trying to convince Sweden to approve Sweden's entry into NATO, but also wants to break the so-called "neo-Ottoman Chabuk" of the Erdogan regime, which is demanding more than Turkey can do, especially at this time.
