Two Greek UAVs that the Turks will now fear - ARCHYTAS and GRYPAS will change the situation on the islands and the Aegean Sea

Very soon the tests of the Greek unmanned aerial vehicle ARCHYTAS will begin, which will be able to perform a variety of missions, increasing the capabilities of the Greek Armed Forces in the field of intelligence gathering and control of our vast island complex.

According to journalistic information, the UAV ''Archytas'' will start air tests in the next period, according to the plan of the EAV, and within the current quarter, we will have the industrial production line to be put into operation.

The Greek drone ARCHYTAS after the end of the tests, will most likely be the "long arm" of the Frigate Command.

The Greek-built unmanned aerial vehicle has a flight autonomy of 2 hours, and can perform surveillance, operations support, and communications relay missions.

We will have the ability to detect from a relatively long distance, enemy unmanned surface vessels in cooperation with the surface radars of our ships, like the ones the Turks have and already use.

The first purely military GRYPAS unmanned aircraft that will target the Asia-Pacific coastline and anything that moves along it

The "GRYPAS" is in the design phase and very soon we will see the first prototype, which will also carry the appropriate armament to be able to carry out missions over long distances, perhaps even as far as Cyprus some other sources say.

Funds are already flowing while the dedicated staff has fallen on its face to implement the whole programme on schedule.

This is a Greek-built UCAV, which will have characteristics similar to the American MQ-9 Reaper.

In any case, the Greek universities that will be involved in the design and EAV have put on the table and are analyzing the characteristics of all existing armed drones and will proceed depending on the funds available and the technical capabilities that will be available when the time comes for mass production. The Armed Forces of the country will have another tool in their hands, capable of changing the balance in this part of the business to the benefit of the country as well.

We are talking about the Greek "Dory" with which we will be able to carry out strike missions against critical Turkish infrastructure in the event of a possible war crisis.

Interceptors, air bases, camps, self-propelled missile systems and concentrations of forces will be in the "target library" of the Greek drone.

We are certainly talking about two Greek airborne weapon systems that will change the course of events in the Aegean, in view of the mining operations that are reportedly being prepared.

It also requires the design and construction of unmanned surface vessels

However, we reiterate that after the announcement of the construction of surface units of the Turkish Navy, the response with the purchase of the Corvettes, which we must seek to build within Greek shipyards, is urgent, while at the same time we must run a special programme for at least 100 UUVs and USVs, i.e. unmanned submarines and surface vessels of Greek design, which will help us in the Aegean to a very large extent by accompanying our frigates and corvettes.

These unmanned naval vehicles will then have to be equipped with small missiles, machine guns , radars so that they can act in support alongside our warships in any dangerous situation.
The hydrocarbon game in the Mediterranean is now beginning, and we must prepare ourselves as best we can, because the Turks are sure to want to 'counter' us everywhere.
