As reported by Turkish media, the President of Görgün Defence Industry said: "ASELPOD, our sharpest national technological eye, continues to develop. The world's most advanced technologies, under the command of the world's best fighter pilots, enhance the strength of our Air Force."

According to a statement issued by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), the 14th serial production field acceptance tests were completed and successfully delivered as part of the project initiated by the Presidency to meet the needs of the Air Force Command and conducted by ASELSAN.

SSB President Haluk Görgün, in a post on his social media accounts, said: "ASELPOD, our sharpest national technological eye, continues to grow. The world's most advanced technologies, under the command of the world's best fighter pilots, enhance the strength of the Air Force. In the development of the ASELPOD system, which takes on one of the most critical tasks on fighter aircraft. I congratulate the ASELSAN personnel and subcontractors who created it."

Turkish media reports that negotiations are ongoing to export the system, which has been delivered to friendly and allied countries in large numbers, to new countries.

"Many functions of ASELPOD, which was originally developed and nationally developed, are functionally performed at a level equal to or beyond equivalent products. The system can successfully perform surveillance and targeting functions with its advanced image processing algorithms," Turkish Anadolu Agency reports.
