T129 Attack Helicopter

Based on the AW129, the T129 is a two-seats multi-purpose helicopter designed for advanced missions of reconnaissance and attack.

The aircraft has a helmet-mounted screen system for night vision and an emergency transmitter that helps the helicopter operate at night.

Furthermore, the T129 can carry a payload up to 1,200kg, a fact that lets it carry weapons like anti-tank guided missiles, air-to-air missiles, rockets, and a turreted 20mm gun system with 3 barrels.

They aren't the only

In October 2021, the Philippines Air Force received five Brazilian A29B Super Tucan light attack helicopters in the Danilo AItenza base. Jordan also send the two first AH-1 Cobra helicopters that were donated by the country.

The commander of the 15th Strike Wing, Aristotle Gonzalez, stated: “Even if we only have a small number of available aircraft, we work day and night to make missions fully capable”.
